This Cow's Come a Long Way

Back in 1973, two hippies and one lovable cow named Lily set out to make yogurt a little differently: rich, creamy, and made the traditional way. Turns out, Lily had pretty good taste.

Meet Lily

Lily was the original Brown Cow, and she’s still the friendly face on every cup we make. On that small farm in Upstate New York, she inspired us to make yogurt with rich whole milk and that delicious cream top. Today, she still inspires us to take the time to make things the right way, and to share smiles along the way.

Where We Are Now

Brown Cow yogurt is still made with the same feel-good spirit that started it all. We keep the cream on top, use honest ingredients, and make every flavor rich, comforting, and satisfying enough to turn any ordinary moment into a better one.
